HRV TRAINING ONLINE CLASS RECORDING
CONTENT: This 6-hour class presented by Linda Walker, MHR, LPC, BCN, BCB introduced licensed professionals to the measurement of heart
rate variability (HRV) from an EKG signal or from peripheral blood
flow (HR/BVP). The 4 x 1.5 hour lesson demonstrated a variety of
convergent training strategies to produce increased heart rate
variability.
RECORDING SUMMARY:
Lesson 1 - Definition of HRV, review of the autonomic nervous system, foundational discussion of Porges' Polyvagal and Neurovisceral theories, basic examination of the HRV measurements.
Lesson 2 - Review of material from the first lesson, understanding the biofeedback signal relative to HRV (including spectral frequencies), how stress effects HRV, examining results of str...

MILITARY AND SECURITY SUITE
The Military and Security Suite is designed by Henk Kraaijenhof and Yuval Oded, based on their experience training military and law enforcement personnel. Individuals with these jobs undergo specific, intense and emotional forms of stress, to which the software's context takes into account. The suite is designed specifically for optimal performance under pressure with individuals the military, security and law enforcement.
The software components of the suite can be split into two primary & separate components:
The Psychophysiological Assessment (which records the psycho-physiological reactions of a subject over several stress-inducing tasks and accompanying recoveries), assessment excel report (presents the relevant statistics in ...

CLINICAL SEMG PROTOCOLS ELBOW
Gabriel E. Sella, MD.
Gabriel E. Sella, MD, MPH, M.Sc. Ph.D (HC), BCIA, DACPM, FAAFP,
FAADEP, is a world expert in Surface Electromyography . Dr. Sella’s
Clinical SEMG assessment protocols offer a unique muscle evaluation
process. The entire protocol takes approximately 10-20 minutes to
complete. The Clinical SEMG Protocols Limited Edition software suite
published by the BFE and de-signed by Dr. Sella records surface
electromyography measures using Dr. Sella`s techniques and proprietary
database. The software provides a report of SEMG activity and a
pathway for SEMG biofeedback for rehabilitation. The suite addresses
the importance of muscle assessment and is based on Dr. Sella s book
entitled “Muscles in Motion”. The software, only allows ...

ALPHA THETA CLASS RECORDING
In these four 1.5-hour session recordings, originally presented in June 2011, Linda Walker instructs participants on Alpha-Theta training to facilitate treatment of individuals struggling with recovery from substance abuse, trauma and PTSD. Furthermore, Alpha-Theta training can benefit meditation and performance enhancement. The material discussed is based on current research and her own clinical experiences. A brief synopsis of these lessons is as follows:
- Lesson 1: History of alpha-theta training, theory of why it helps and contemporary research and protocols.
- Lesson 2: Leading up to starting Alpha-Theta therapy with a client; relaxation strategies; principles for induction and running an Alpha-Theta session; EEG electrode placement and ...

MUSCLE BIOFEEDBACK AT THE COMPUTER BOOK PDF
Erik Peper, Ph.D. and Katherine Hughes Gibney
This book (in PDF format) gives professionals an excellent introductory to the field of ergonomicts, repetitive strain injury (RSI) prevention and SEMG biofeedback at the computer. The text give the full assessment, monitoring, training and clinical observations for collecting and interpreting data. The book teaches basic skills derived from more than thirty years of biofeedback training and teaching experience.
You will learn how to:
Make sense of the data;
Monitor and display EMG signals of interest, as well as other modalities
(respiration, heart rate skin conductance, temperature);
Discover the underlying muscle activity;
Accurately record the signal;
Direc...
