COMMON SIDE EFFECTS
OF NEUROFEEDBACK
Presenter: Ingrid Valentin
Neurofeedback is a non-invasive method which means that it is often seen as natural and harmless. Often it is claimed that it has no side effects. However, when one understands how neurofeedback works, it also brings understanding about potential side effects. These are mostly temporary and for the best, but how do you explain this to clients? You will also discover a few unexpected positive side-effects of neurofeedback.
Learning Objectives:
- Learn what side effects neurofeedback can have.
- Explain these side-effects to clients.
- Know which action to take (if any) if you see these occur.
All views expressed in the recording are solely those of the presenters and participants.
