ADDING BRAINSPOTTING TO
YOUR NEUROFEEDBACK PRACTICE
Presenter: Santiago Brand, BCN,BCB,HRV, BSP
Brainspotting (BSP) locates points in the client’s visual field that help to access unprocessed trauma in the subcortical brain. Brainspotting (BSP) was discovered in 2003 by David Grand, Ph.D. Over 13,000 therapists have been trained in BSP (52 internationally), in the United States, South America, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Australia and Africa. Dr. Grand discovered that "Where you look affects how you feel." It is the brain activity, especially in the subcortical brain that organizes itself around that eye position. This webinar will show why Brainspotting is a good addition to your neurofeedback practice and how both techniques can reinforce and strengthen each other. EEG and psychophysiological changes during and after BSP will be presented.
Learning Objectives:
- Understand what Brainspotting is and why where you look affects how you feel.
- Learn the neurophysiological theory behind Brainspotting.
- Understand changes in the EEG and physiological variables after Brainspotting.
- Learn how to combine Brainspotting and neurofeedback for more successful outcomes.
All views expressed in the recording are solely those of the presenters and participants.
