ANXIETY AND NEUROFEEDBACK
Presenter: Ingrid Valentin
Anxiety disorders are the most common mental illness, with over 30% of the population experiencing an anxiety disorder at some point in their life. This is why, as a neurofeedback practitioner, it is essential for you to understand anxiety and the brain. Anxiety is also a transdiagnostic symptom. This means that no matter the exact diagnosis you are working with, chances are you will encounter anxiety as a symptom. For example, anxiety is a common symptom in depression, attention problems, traumatic brain injury, PTSD, addictions, eating disorders... This webinar will help you deepen your understanding and improve your practice with anxiety symptoms and anxiety disorders. It will look at common QEEG findings, the neuroanatomy of anxiety, implications for neurofeedback therapy, and results you can obtain with neurofeedback.
All views expressed in the recording are solely those of the presenters and participants.
