Biofeedback is a modality that allows individuals to learn about their physiological responses to stress and other stimuli. In the treatment of insomnia, biofeedback is often used in conjunction with relaxation training and behavioral approaches in order to assist an individual’s awareness of their physiological processes, so that they might
gain control over them. In this webinar, attendees will learn the current statistics regarding insomnia and learn what biofeedback modalities are used in the treatment of insomnia or sleep disorders. Attendees will also learn ethical considerations for practicing biofeeback to treat insomnia.
