This 1-hour webinar recording shows research to support the use of Dr. Glazer's
SEMG Pelvic Floor Assessment for gastrointestinal disorders. SEMG muscle recording
patterns associated with the different parts of the assessment are reviewed
and the rationale behind the Glazer protocol is discussed. Dr. Glazer covers
the importance of the pelvic floor muscles for a wide range of gastrointestinal
disorders such as chronic constipation, fecal incontinence and others. Dr. Glazer
reviews some of the research conducted in collaboration with colorectal surgeon,
Shuqing Ding M.D.,Attending doctor,National center of Colorectal disease of
Chinese Medicine Nanjing Municipal Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital, 3rd
affiliated hospital of Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine in Nanjing, China.
