Position: Education and Program Manager
Starting Date: Immediately
Full/part time: While we are looking to hire a full-time candidate, part-time is also an option.

Position Purpose
Coordinates the work being done by instructors and experts under the “Learn from the Best” (LFB) program through BFE Centers of Excellence worldwide.

Assists in project planning, and the creation of budgets and schedules for new courses and Centers of Excellence. Provides input to HQ record-keeping systems and procedures to provide administrative liaison to research and professional leaders; instructors and local experts worldwide.

Responsibilities
Learn From the Best Program (Focus on program, curriculum, courses, certification)

  • Coordinate the creation of new course materials adaptable to multiple languages
  • Help to establish annual (quarterly) and 3-year budgets and schedules for new course materials
  • Help to establish/define levels of certification; pre-requisites for courses; exam procedures
  • Work with BFE HQ to create texts to describe the new processes
  • Recruit and manage relationships with Instructors and/or potential Instructors
  • Assist in the creation of program and course content for the BFE online shop

 BFE Centres of Excellence

  • Plan and coordinate the initiation and establishment of BFE Centers of Excellence
  • Plan and coordinate operating policies and reporting procedures for BFE Centers of Excellence
  • Help to recruit and instruct, research, professional and client leaders

General

  • Keep up-to-date on what happens in the scientific world linked with biofeedback
  • Learn from key social networks & groups for how specific topics relate to biofeedback
  • Assist in the promotion of events, existing and new products through Social media
  • Learn from professional and client groups & report back to BFE-HQ
  • Help discussion groups for multiple communities of professionals and clients
  • Liaise with sponsors, distributors, funding agencies and other organizations
  • Attend BFE onsite events and/or partner and sponsor events approved by BFE
  • Attend other live on-line or on-the-ground events when appropriate

Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge of issues relating to biofeedback
  • Excellent facilitation skills
  • Exceptional program coordination and professional-client management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in English; ability to speak another language is an asset
  • Verbal communications skills

  • Planning/organizational skills
  • Personal motivation; works autonomously
  • Project Management capabilities

Computer Competency including proficiency in Windows and or Apple

  • Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel and Powerpoint; GoToMeeting; Constant Contact; Social Media – Facebook and other; WordPress – basic knowledge; Familiarity with biofeedback recording, data storage and analysis systems such as BioGraph Infiniti

Education

  • Post graduate degree in a related field preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Basic knowledge of sponsor devices
